Painter walter dermul will be back at the Le Neuf Gallery in Rivoli Brussels with a selection of his latest oil paintings. At the core of this exhibition is the series 'Gnossiennes', a nod to Erik Satie's experimental piano compositions. 'Gnosis' refers to a special intuitive insight into humanity's true divine nature, often attained through contemplation or grace. As in the Labyrinth of Knossos, humans seek their way to insight or liberation from the labyrinths in which they find themselves. The maze is a metaphor for an inner quest and the pursuit of knowledge.
